I rarely write bad reviews, but this is ridiculous. I had an initial appointment here thinking "wow I'm going to finally get the care I need". I go to my appointment and am required to take a specific test which I'd pay $100+ for. The results come back and Dr. Hamm and I have an initial conversation. The first red flag should have been this implication that based on the test results, I was faking what it was I had. Nonetheless, I had to come back the next day to redo the test. I have been a patient of Ms. Angela Hamm since 2019. She has been a huge help in managing my medication. During covid, I would have difficulty getting online (my issues w/technology) and she was patient and would often call me directly. I think Lifestance (the corporation she works for) has room for improvement but Ms. Hamm is a knowledgeable, professional and kind caregiver.
Very disappointed in this large big business practice! We have been using this practice for over a year and recently lost our insurance for our daughter. Last month she had a 15 minute follow up appointment and one month medication prescribed for the price of $405.00! Nearly $30.00 a minute. Today, was our one month follow up and a quite unprofessional message was left on my 19 year olds voicemail an hour before her appointment requiring her to pay the $405.00 fee, as well as the balance on her account before her appoint... read more
I have been going to this provider for almost a year now, and I am thoroughly dissatisfied. She was wonderful and thoughtful at first, but after a few appointments she was distant, quick, and I felt like she did not actually go into detail with me or care. However, the absolute WORST quality is not getting into contact with her for medication refills. I had an appointment that I had waited 2 weeks for. Day of, two hours before my appointment I was notified it had been cancelled. I called and had to wait on hold for 10 minutes and was rudely notified that I had not completed the paperwork. I was never notified about this previously. I offered to complete it as I had 2 hours. Instead they notified me it was too late and they had booked someone else. So unprofessional for someone in the psychiatric business to treat patients this way.
