My husband and I have brought both our dogs here since puppies. The doctors know them well and you can tell they care about them a lot. They remember their history every time. They’ve done the spays/neuters, taken care of wellness, and helped when they’re sick or injured. I love the vets here, our dogs have been seen by Dr Hackel, Dr Balfe, and Dr Donna. Unfortunately we had to put our 16 year old companion to rest, and the staff here was amazing. They were so compassionate. They made sure my Cali girl had a nice treat plate full of whipped cream, cookies, cheese, and chocolate. We got to stay with her the whole time. They even did paw prints for us. As terrible as the situation was for my family, the staff helped make it easier. They gave us as much time as we needed to be with our girl. We had to have a cat and a dog go to the 🌈 bridge within 3 mo. With Snickers (cat) the vet was able to tell us she had cancer cells in the fluid of her abdomen. With mo, we made the appt for his end. I had to carry him in, they had a nice bed big enough for my wife and me to lay with him. They were so understanding. They weren't even our reg vet but will be from now on.

My cat needed to be seen quickly and Animal Hosputal of Chesterfield offered me an appointment in only one hour. Jackie (who set the appointment) gave me clear instructions about preparing my cat for the visit. I believe the tests done were necessary. Treatment was begun quickly with very good instructions. It’s been 3 days and my cat appears to be doing better. I think the service was very competent & compassionate.

Brought my dog here because he was throwing up constantly and this vet was recommended by a trusted friend. I scheduled an appointment and the day before they called to ask me to change to a week later. I insisted on keeping my original appointment and they obliged. The xray and consult was $700 which seemed excessive, but it ended up being serious heartburn they could treat with meds. What they prescribed worked. They also said there was a significant risk of paralysis due to a common leg issue and he would need surgery. I ... read more
