This place is amazing. They truly care about the animals. It's not just a business, they're connected to care. We loved them since taking our Andy there a few years ago. When we had to put Andy to rest yesterday, Dr Donna was crying as much as we were. They were delicate about our feelings, and Andy's comfort. We can't recommend them enough. I can't say enough good things about Animal Hospital of Chesterfield. Especially Dr Balfe and Dr. Hackel. They treated my dog with such compassion and cared for him like he was one of their own. Unfortunately, our sweet boy did not make it but Dr. Balfe was extremely thorough making sure all things were ruled our prior to us making the devastating decision to put our guy to rest. We have been using AHOC for several years. They can be a bit pricy at times, but I trust them completely when it comes to caring for our animals! We just recently put our beloved 14 year old cat down due to her health declining and Dr. Balfe was AMAZING! She was so kind and compassionate during such a difficult moment, especially with my children. We will continue to see her with our dog!
I brought my kitty Lexus to Chesterfield Animal Clinic on emergency. After examination and testing it was decided it was her time, I had to say goodbye to my sweet Lexus. They put us in a private room and let us spend as much time as we needed to say goodbye. They never rushed us.The care Dr belfe and staff showed me in my time of grief was above and beyond. I will treasure the"nose and toes" prints and card sent by Dr Belfe and staff.God Bless you
This establishment has treated us and our pet pretty well over the last few years. However yesterday my son brought our dog in for review and we were amazed at the lack of care the vet on duty applied!! Apparently the other ‘primary vets ‘ were at a convention and the vet on duty was sub par! Our dogs mouth was very swollen and agitated. The vet was afraid to look in the dogs mouth for getting bit?
