She is very personable. She recommends medications and does not force them on you if you are not on board. She doesn't rush you but of course she is a psychiatrist so you get 15-20 min which is enough to accomplish what you need.
I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Shankar and the care she provides. From the very first visit, I felt truly seen, heard, and understood—something that can be rare when navigating through my condition as an adult.
