I have been going here for almost a year now, I went through the change to new owners which was rocky , but overall, this place has been nothing but helpful to me. I can tell you from personal experience that the clinic in Manassas, which is the only other clinic in northern Virginia that gives out methadone is very unorganized & understaffed and I’m just really glad that I was able to get into the Annandale clinic. Starting at Annandale CTC has been instrumental in my recovery journey. Everyone that works there is so kind, friendly, and non-judgmental. Also shoutout to the cute front desk girl for putting a smile on my face every morning!
This facility (the new owners) were missing inventory of this controlled substance for nearly an entire week and never noticed. I’ve been coming here for nearly 4 years now. I previously put a 5 star review because although there’s issues (nothing in life is ever perfect) I considered them a reliable place for my medication. I’ve been going here for a while. It just got bought out by a new company. My only advice is if you’re going here please be very careful. I would not go in without a mask. If anyone has Covid. They tell you to come in with a mask and when you go to dose you have to take your mask off. I just got Covid three days ago from sitting next to someone that was wearing a mask. I did not know they had Covid and I was in line behind her well now I have Covid. My mother has Covid who is 85 years old, so please be very very careful.... read more
This is an institution that should NOT be allowed to exist. Its a hazard to the surrounding community and creates new drug use patterns once the people attending the clinic begin to pair up and help each other beat the tests that are given while still using. That's not to mention the fact that Methadone itself is a terribly toxic and dangerous thing to ingest, and you become chained to this place just like a heroin addict to their dealer.
