First of all everything here is spotless first class! We have a wonderful cottage and so far have been very happy with our experience. No place. is perfect and this one isn't either. There are things that I would change if I were asked. They work hard at pleasing people and the activities are abundant. They've had some staffing problems in administration, but they're seem to be getting everything straightened out. I have a beautiful room, excellent security, the facilityis kept very clean, the staff is wonderful, but both the food and food service is well below expectations. The value for the money is very good. There are many nice activities offered.
Ansel Park independent senior housing is a well kept, and peaceful community. The staff is very friendly and supportive. The only thing I find most disappointing is their food service. Lack of food service staff, long waits and inconsistent food quality. I would give Ansel Park a 4 out of 5.
It's a beautiful facility with good support and activities. Both the staff and residents were very friendly to my mom.
Ansel Park Independent Living is a great place to live. It is a beautiful facility, the rooms are spacious and well designed, there is plenty of parking, and guests are welcomed. They have great staff, and recognition of veterans.
I have had interactions with at least a half a dozen staff members over a six month period and all persons went out of their way to accommodate. The reception staff helped with off-loading heavy items during a move-in, to a question/answer period with the then facility chef. Another plus about this facility is the fact that, currently, they have model living quarters available for viewing. Other facilities did not have that availability.
All items above are "5" (excellent) EXCEPT for number "6" food, which I would rate between "0" and "2"!!!! The quality of food they buy is good, the amount put on the plate is adequate, and what is on the menu is good but the cooks DON'T know how to cook even the simplest items or what is delivered to the table is NOT what is described on the menu.
