Dr. Zacharias and his staff were AMAZING today! We came in for a second opinion on my son's hip issues and we left with more information than we have from the 2 previous Dr's combined ( 1 dr sent him for an mri then told him sorry we dont work on any one under 45 , 2nd dr did basically nothing no exam nothing. Just told him they would schedule for a cortisone shot for a labrum tear and he should loose 50lbs if he decides for surgery because they dont work on people over 325lbs that was all they said combined.) Well, where do I begin to talk about Dr. Zacharias. I had both my knees replaced and I am now pain free and doing well after only 8 weeks. I think the same thing everybody says after surgery why didn’t I do it sooner? He’s got a wonderful bedside manner, listens and the talent is unbelievable. Thank you for giving me my life back! Highly recommend Dr. Zacharias and his team. He gave me honest and realistic expectations for my hip/knee operation (my first ever surgery, at that) and recovery, which I truly appreciated as an athlete. He took the time to understand my work ethic and reassured me I’d be back to playing my sport within the time I was hopeful for and even ready for an important work/training event just three months post-op (which I was!). Dr. Zacharias is a fantastic surgeon and physician who has supported our family tremendously through my son’s hip surgeries. Everyone on his staff is also top notch. (Especially Liza.) While the first surgery was expertly performed, my son had an unexpectedly difficult recovery — not due to Dr. Zacharias or his team, but simply how my son’s body responded.
