Anytime fitness is supposed to be considered a nicer gym. However, the equipment, disinfectant wipe holder, and the water system all need pampering. All the wipe down holders were empty and the water machine doesn’t work and the machines were not in the best shape. Members don’t want to pay for a place that isn’t getting updated frequently. I have spent 3 months in Columbus,NE as a travel nurse-Anytime Fitness has been my happy place, my stress release, and my home away from home. Megan, the coach/trainer made me feel welcome in her house. The members are there to put in the work (people weren’t sitting on machines texting very often)! Very rarely would I have to wait for a squat rack (they have 3!!! And Rogue bumper plates) or other equipment. Pretty tight spaces. Not enough equipment to accommodate the rush after work probably because it's too small to fit more equipment. I personally dislike the leg press machine. It's angle on the foot placement pad is awkward and makes it uncomfortable to workout at different parameters.
Some of the worst customer service I have seen in a gym. Totally unable to keep honest office hours (many instances with no one present) and the only way to cancel membership is with a written letter. Calling them? No. Asking the desk? No. Whenever they do decide to answer, they said that "an email would suffice". That didn't work either. For 50 something dollars a month, customer service should be a must. At least their facilities were clean and nice. Extremely disappointing.
I enjoy the variety of kettle balls and the safety squat bar they have.
