So I believe outpatient rehabilitation can be much more effective without the medication! So when you start, the medication isn't introduced as an option, they automatically ask you which medication you would like to go on and if your ready to get clean you shouldn't choose any because your just trading one drug for another! Not only is this review partially the fault of DHS archaic laws and rules. It's the issue of somewhat the home clinic I previously transferred from. The people here operate in a way that has not invested one bit. They do not accept most insurance, they are not a sliding scale income based like most clinics are. This means you pay so much just for your dose regardless of quantity. It's worse if you're bupe or as they charge twice as much as a normal pharmacy provider. I enjoy going to ACTC for my methadone dosing,& I have an awesome counselor there and I also love doing group on the phone! I truly feel confident in my recovery, being a part of this program
I have been coming to the Appleton comprehensive treatment center for 8 years now. For a small amount of time I switched to a different clinic and immediately went back to Appleton. The way that you are respected and treated there makes a difference in everything. When it comes to Recovery Health coming here and finding the right counselor will change your life!
