I was lucky enough to stumble home Apricot Lane while on a wine and cheese walk downtown. I was going to buy 2 pairs of $5 earrings when i found more cash than expected in my wallet. This (embarrassingly) made me tear up at the counter. the owner quickly got me tissues and showed such empathy at my situation. in the end, she refused to let me pay the $10 and left me with such kind words, i fell in love with the entire store. i will definitely be coming back and giving my business to these beautiful people.
Came here to talk about the low inventory of things plus the return/exchange policy. I saw a comment 3 months prior to mine with the exact problem as me. I just wanted to exchange and buy more dresses, but pregnant brain here lost her receipt and didn’t have an account. I have bank statements showing proof of purchase ($92) and it was 6 days ago. I shop here and have never been asked about an account. Definitely going to Landry Kate, Willow House, Apple Boulevard for my shopping needs instead, not that I wasn’t before.
The service is fabulous. My husband shopped here for me for Christmas and the staff did all the hard work for him — everything was perfect! I love the fun styles, great selections, and the accessories. This is always a fun shopping experience.
Beware Apricot Lane Mckinney has the most insane return policy so I’ll never be shopping here again. I had bought a dress for pictures and knew I needed to return within 10 days for store credit, which wasn’t a problem. But what I didn’t know/realize was that I had to return within 10 days and choose something else to “purchase”. They wouldn’t give store credit and let me “purchase” something else at a later date. This is hands down my favorite store to buy clothes from. I go in before every work trip and tell them where I’m going and we play dress up. They curate all my outfits and pick things I’d never normally even try on. The shop is so darn cute. Great quality clothes, fair prices. The staff is so sweet. They are very up front on the return policies (7 days generally) but have been flexible for small exchanges. I love this store. The owner is awesome!
