Dr. Wells has been my 15 Month olds Primary pediatrician since day one & we couldn't be happier!! We were truly, TRULY BLESSED w the best to say the least!! Our son is obsessed with Dr. Wells absolutely Loves him and he has such stranger danger.....with everyone except for mommy daddy or Dr. Wells!!! He is by far the kindest, most gentle, caring, and informative Doctor not just in Arizona, probably the country! He is extra special, nobody was meant for this job as much as doctor Wells!!! In we've been coming here since last summer when we moved here from on a town. Doctors and staff are very friendly and nice. They always make an effort to see my children as soon as possible and even if I have to wait a little while they try to get them in as soon as they can as a walk-in. Office can really use a makeover!
So glad they have a location in Laveen! Just moved to the area and this is the 3rd pediatrician I tried and it will be the last. Love the staff and doctors!
Love this office! Dr. Holmgren is an amazing, patient and caring Doctor. Always listens to my many concerns and answers all my questions! This practice is top quality!
Unfortunately, great doctors, trash front desk ladies. Terrible office experience. They Never answer the phone DURING open hours and very rude. I have to wait an hour only for someone to answer and then quickly hang up on me. Who would've thought answering phones and setting up appointments was so difficult? I've been coming here for all five of my kids (15 years) but this is enough. Looking for a new spot and if you value your time, I recommend you do the same!
Disgusted. Will not be going back to this office and hope their Laveen office is better and more sanitary. Nurse was taking some blood samples for a test and dropped a cotton ball on the floor, picked it right back up with all the hairs that came up along with it and wiped my daughter's bloody finger with it after I said ew a couple of times. Dear Susan, I am so sorry that this was your experience. I can promise you that I have never heard of such a thing happening at our office and am shocked to hear this. Our nurses are all very well trained, take the utmost care, and are extremely sanitary. "Revenue Manager" used overly aggressive body language and communication methods in attempt to collect $50 for being late and rescheduled by MVP twice. I did receive letters stating that I missed when in fact I was late. I would say its not bad for a 5 year record as a patient. Being a mom is not easy and don't appreciate the condensing choice of words because of" LOST REVENUE TIME". MVP needs to hire a person who has education and is effective at collecting revenue while staying professional at the same time.
Pro: The doctors are really amazing with children here. Con: Unfortunately, the doctors talk you into what they promise are "preventative procedures" and then the office bills insurance as "elective procedures" and you get a huge bill in the mail. They won't work with you on the bill at all either, and are quick to send you to collections while you're trying to work it out with your insurance.
We decided to come as walk-in today at 7:00am due to my son's continuous cough despite of giving him nebulizer. The receptionist said "There's no doctor until 9:00am today" so why are they open 7:00am and last Monday I called they said they can accept walk-ins at 7:00am if the child needs to be seen by their doctor. I asked for there's on-call doctor to ask for my son's medication, they said the on-call is after 5pm when they closed! First of all...
