this is a fantastic placer to live. The community is wonderful, and the staff routinely go above and beyond what you would expect to solve problems, celebrate special events, and make sure that the nice little things are done. The concierge service is particularly amazing!

Parents moved in a week ago and so far experience had been great. On the more expensive side where dining, house cleaning, and maintenance is included in price (not internet, but possibly electricity). I sampled dinner today. Portion size was appropriate (ie smaller than restaurants), very tasteful.
My brother and I have been looking for a caring and kind senior living environment for my mom and Arbor Terrace has been just that. Pauline was fantastic getting mom set up. Dermatologist, GP, Ted Talks, shuttles - wonderful!
Arbor Terrace Herndon is a wonderful community for your independent parents. Activities and social gatherings to keep the residents engaged. When parents needed a little extra help, the community partners with a home care agency and physical therapy agency that can provide residents with a friendly caregiver to help out with meal preparation, companionship, medication management, or physical therapy. The support a parent may need is provided discreetly right inside the comfort of their home.
This is a beautiful Independent Living community with a beautiful outdoor entertaining area. Their Sunday brunch is amazing! I love seeing the residents going out on outings and getting to know everyone. Their staff has little turnover which is great as I can develop relationships with them.
It is a pleasure visiting Arbor Terrace and I would highly recommend it to anyone moving to an Independent Living Community. The Arbor experience starts from the kind greetings as you enter the front door to the family/compassionate atmosphere throughout the community. I would recommend this community for my parents!
