My daughter and I visited this store for the first time on Saturday, 9/7 around 2pm. We walked in and two employees were assisting one client right up front, they saw us walk in, glanced over but no acknowledgment. Walked through the entire store, about a half hour, not one employee even smiled at us at all. Actual delivery date was way off the estimated delivery date, by several weeks. I see other reviews with the same experience. Too many furniture stores in the city to have to wait this long for purchases. A small refund was provided but we certainly did not purchase from Arhaus to begin with because of the "reasonable" prices. First and last time at Arhaus.
Cathy has been amazing to work with from start to finish. She was super welcoming from the moment I stepped into the store. I needed help furnishing a new home and she walked me through every step of the way and was extremely patient with me as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy from this amazing company. She is friendly, knowledgeable and very communicative. Nice furniture at a premium. Not an efficient company though. We received a piece that had two shelves damaged. Instead of just replacing those two shelves, they sent a whole new set. We were stunned to hear the deliverer say the warehouse would likely trash the returned 95%-good piece that cost us almost $4k. I called b.s., but he said sad but true. Like I said, nice stuff but at a premium. 🤦♂️. The only way for a place like this to stay in business is to seriously overcharge their customers.
If you like to receive your furniture 4 months after you have paid for it and a lousy costumer support, then this is a great place. We were told 8 to maximum 12 weeks and nobody even cared to inform us that it will take longer or what the reason is.
