I have always been a fan of this brand of furniture, never owned one. Walked in after doing some research on what I wanted. Walked in on a weekend, with 1 or 2 customers at the store. None of the employees greeted me or offered any help. Everyone was acting like I didn't exist. I wanted to purchase a bed frame, which I promptly did at Restoration Hardware down the street. Interior designer and long time customer of Arhaus and was so excited to hear that one opened down the street from me! Unfortunately my experience in store wasn’t a great one. I don’t experience rac*sm ever, but it was blatantly clear that this was happening as I was the only person of color in a room with another 5 customers in store that were white and everyone else was being assisted. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, especially for how much we paid for the furniture. There is no way to track your order online. The store employees refuse to tell us when our furniture is going to be delivered. They refuse to answer emails or give us a phone call back. When we finally get them on the phone, they say a later delivery date each time. I would never recommend buying furniture from Arhaus, especially the Los Gatos branch. I had a terrible experience with this brand. I purchased two chairs and was told they would be delivered in 4 weeks. However, it's now been 7 weeks, and every time I call, I’m told the items are either ‘on the way’ or will be delivered ‘next week.’ I’ve received no clear answers, and I still don’t have the items. Worth mentioning, this is not during the COVID period when delays were more common. What’s frustrating is that they charge you on the day of purchase, not when the items are ready for delivery.
