My husband had treatment for tongue cancer. The radiation doctor, Dr. Heal was great. The rest of their systems was awful. He was in treatment for 7 weeks. He only met with the oncologist twice in that time Dr. Ghose. We met with his PA, Brittany, only when in the chemo room. They do not return calls. Do not call back when they say they will. My experience at Arizona Center for Cancer Care was excellent. As I told the doctor and staff on my last day of treatment, no one "wants" to come to daily cancer treatment but the professionalism, competent care and personal consideration at ACCC made it a good experience. I would definitely recommend them.
I could not be more pleased with Arizona Center for Cancer care. Upon my arrival at the center I met with Dr. Zakem and her assistant Jenna. I was treated with respect care and total professionalism during my visit by both. Dr. Zakem spent a full hour with me going over treatment options and answering all of my questions. I would totally recommend them.
If there is a zero star I would choose it. I did a CT scan on 7/30/2025 and 10/16/2025 respectively at Arizona Center for Cancer Care, ACCC, Tempe location. These were my first experiences with ACCC. In both visits, the technician did a very poor job in inserting needles into my arm when he set up for IV. He was very rushed both times, leaving a much worse bruise on my arm than necessary. All radiation appointments were on time and the staff was pleasant. Dr. Zakem is personable and extremely knowledgeable.
