I visited ARROYO VISTA FAMILY HEALTH CENTER in Highland Park and had such a pleasant experience. Dr. Wong is truly professional and kind. I also spoke to Irma Madrigal RDN over the phone very informative and helpful with my daily diet. I also spoke to Christina over the phone very helpful with a follow up call. I would highly recommend to anyone this center. Thank You wonderful staff.
Dr Erin Herndon is was lovely. I was nervous recently switching from a PPO to an HMO, but it was great. The staff was friendly and efficient and she was responsive to my questions and request. I felt really taken care of and could not recommend enough.
Currently today, 11/13/2025, went in for a walk in which I knew it would take awhile. However, 40-60 mins to get tested for Covid? I did this at home and it took 10mins. Which I did before coming here and tested negative. 40 MINUTES HAVE PASSED SINCE THEY TOLD ME TO WAIT OUTSIDE. I went in at the 20 minute mark to inform them that I was still waiting… I’ll update how long it took for this simple covid test.
I went to my appointment which was scheduled to be a physical exam with Dr. H. After I got into the room, I see Dr. Y(Never seen them) walking in. Dr Y. starts talking about medication to which I had no prior knowledge for and am not taking. I mentioned to Dr. Y I have been going to the oncology and they asked me why I visit the oncology. Horrible experience. Waited over an hour for a doctor who never saw me. Instead I was told she sent in the prescription digitally. The order turned out to be wrong and my whole day was wasted as was my friend’s who have me the rides. The next day I spent half of the day trying to find someone to talk to . In the afternoon I finally. Reached a. nurse who I think might have straightened everything out (I think)
