JC at Ascend Kierland made my move a pleasant experience. He has helped me in so many ways from making sure I understand everything to addressing any concerns or questions I have. While the look of these apartments may be nice, the underlying issues that continue to be ignored by the complex management outweigh everything. While living here for 6 months, we have had multiple maintenance issues which have failed to receive any timely action by the maintenance at this complex. They try to get you to fix things on your own before sending someone. Which I understand for minor issues, however, when it comes to major plumbing issues or air conditioner I am not a qualified to fix these things. In August, of ... read more
Be aware that the company's only objective is to squeeze residents for as much money as they possibly can. Since they've taken over they've added several paid "amenities" that residents don't have the ability to opt out of. I'm currently being forced to pay $1560 a year for 10% off pizza (!!!), workout classes at a gym I don't go to, a terrible garbage service I don't use that results in people leaving their garbage in front of their door all day (I don’t use the service but am forced to store a giant ugly black garbage bin ... read more
We love living at Ascend! We’ve been here since April of 2022, and thus far it checks off the most important things for us - responsiveness from the leasing office, responsiveness from maintenance staff, clean common areas, great amenities, good parking availability, and being dog-friendly. The community is consistently being maintained and upgraded. We have yet to find another community in the area that is even remotely competitive with the price/amenities/location. We’re very happy here.
The first 6 pictures are of our dog park. It is covered in algae, black and white mold, bacteria and bugs. The two pictures of green thats our pool. An additional picture previously of our pool. The broken cupboard took 3 years to get fixed. The crack in the ceiling is from water damage from the 3rd floor. Damage was done at the end of March. Walk around the property you will be so grateful.
