The staff at Asda were great, the lady who assisted me at 2 a.m was incredibly kind and the young man on the forecourt was just as friendly and helpful. Both went out of their way to offer assistance and I truly appreciated their warm attitude at such an early hour. Having a 24-hour Asda is an absolute lifesaver, I was able to get medicine for my little one who woke up with a terrible earache in the middle of the night. Thank you to the team for being there when it mattered most!
I post regularly and almost never post bad reviews, but this was just such an unnecessarily unpleasant interaction. I popped in to get a couple of bits, and was treated like an annoyance the entire time. I am not one to normally write such a bad review, or even go out of my way and make the effort to write a bad review. But the experience in the petrol station is genuinely that bad that I feel like something needs to be said about it. There is one elderly lady in particular that always works here, short with short dark blonde ish hair, she is absolutely miserable. Visiting the store today we made several purchases. One item was a can of redbull, after the payment had been made i picked the drink up, being over the age of 16, the women ripped it out of my hand aggressively and said that my mother had to carry it out of the premises. There was no need for the assult, completely unproffessional. Should there of been a question about age, this should of been done verbally rather than physically. Extremely rude.
