Plenty of car parking and I had a pleasant shop until I got to a maned till. It would be nice if they had manners instead of sitting there being totally ignorant, not a word, not even a thank you. In need of some customer relations training.
I’m a pensioner and on Saturday I asked a member of staff to help me find a bag of compost, the young man in the self scan area was really helpful and carried the compost back to the trolley, he was very polite and even offered to take it to the car. Left one star only because there is no option to leave less. I'm new to the area and had to look around for somewhere to return a parcel. Asda at Walgrave came so there I went. Greeted by inconsistent services which led me to ask the rudest and ill mannered workers. During my visit I was accused of racism and bad behaviour. Appalling service by dreadful people. Three stars is the average today 14.4.25 5 stars for the lovely lady in the currency exchange kiosk - pleasure to speak to. Sorry to give the staff at the self check out. BIG FAT ZERO. Left me and another gent waiting 15 mins for a basket check while they fixed the hand set … no communication at all. No apology. Nothing at all. Completely ignored us … how hard would it have been to say ‘with you as soon as we can’? They are completely miserable, seem to hate their jobs and don’t hide it! Nice place where find most of you need under one roof. You can find "George" in upstairs with a nice collection of textiles. And there's a cafe upstairs with a baby station equipped with microwave etc. And a offers for kids during summer. Overall nice experience.👍
