Super disappointed. I called the number that the website provides, last Thursday to schedule an appointment with Aspen Dental. The woman I spoke to on the phone confirmed that Aspen Dental accepted my insurance. I spelled out the insurance name and got confirmation that I would have NO ISSUE. After working night shift, I arrive at Aspen Dental at 8:00 am for my appointment. After experiencing some terrible services during my visit to their Charlottesville office, I reached out to express my dissatisfaction. They responded to my concerns and took proactive measures to resolve the issue. I’m sharing my story so others don’t suffer like I did. I moved from out of state and had not had a dental cleaning in about 2 years. Desperate, I set up an appointment with Aspen since they had sooner availability than most places. I should note I had been to Aspen once as a young kid due to insurance coverage, and had negative experiences with the care I received then. Where do I even start? Despite the negative reviews, I took the chance since I don't have insurance & they're costs were on the lower end. A few days before my appointment, I got a text & email to confirm. So I did. As a new patient anywhere else, you normally have the option to fill out paperwork in advanced. Not here. My appointment was booked via email, I got an email asking for confirmation prior to the appointment date to which I answered yes and got a confirmation email in return. However on the day of I was told by the receptionist that my appointment was cancelled as they didn't receive a verbal confirmation as per their policy.
