The staff at Aspen Dental (8831 Albemarle Rd) are some of the best I have ever dealt with (69 years). Dr’s Shelley and Martin are gifted dentists. Raven who is the hygienist did a deep cleaning for me. The entire process was seamless. Kelsi (front desk)!and Bri (financing) were friendly and efficient. The entire staff is top notch. If you have had a less than positive experience with a different Aspen office (as I did), do not give up before you try this practice. You will not be disappointed.
Being in healthcare for over 25 years and customer service even longer, I am very observant of how I am greeted and how the staff of a healthcare facility interacted with other patients especially at front desk. My wife had appointments at Aspen Dental on Albermarle Rd in Charlotte, NC, and this is the first time she felt comfortable being in a dentist chair. Dr. Shelly was kind and compassionate towards her fears and Frank, his assistant was very kind and professional. The whole entire staff there were excellent. Thank you so much for assisting my wife
This office is fairly new but can improve in some areas. I called and had my appointment rescheduled just to come into the office and be told that the appointment wasn’t scheduled…. What was the point of callling? Why wasn’t my appointment scheduled. Not only is that an inconvenience to me because I did my part… but there was no consideration to the fact that they messed up on their part. I just started visiting this office but things like this make me want to consider changing to another dental office. This is not cool.
Short summary: This is a newer office, so please read similar reviews from their other Charlotte locations and go somewhere that is not a nationwide chain. They recommend unnecessary, costly procedures (I received a second opinion from a different dentist to be sure). They charge fees they can’t explain. They don’t tell you in advance that they only will clean your teeth on the first appointment if they have time in their schedule (otherwise it is a consultation only, which was a large waste of time).
