Billing is a nightmare here. Signed up for a loan for a payment plan, they are still sending me invoices stating I need to pay Aspen Dental. The manager there assured me my account would be corrected - this was over a month ago. The actual dental staff here are okay, they were nice and explained things well. Super disappointed. I called the number that the website provides, last Thursday to schedule an appointment with Aspen Dental. The woman I spoke to on the phone confirmed that Aspen Dental accepted my insurance. I spelled out the insurance name and got confirmation that I would have NO ISSUE. After working night shift, I arrive at Aspen Dental at 8:00 am for my appointment. I began care with Aspen on April 15 of this year. In the beginning it seemed as though it would be great. I went in and got an exam I was told I had periodontal disease and needed several fillings, a couple of root canals and a crown on a tooth. In shock.. Being 36 years old I was literally willing to sacrifice a kidney to keep my teeth at this point... I was impressed by the attentiveness of the dentist asst. & lab man. They were very professional,Kind. I then speak to the office manager regarding the pricing of my partials.(I have good ppo insurance) So imagine my surprise when my insurance paid $1,000 towards them & I still owe $1900 I even went with the nonmetal it was supposed to be much cheaper but was not.I was initially told that my down payment was $250,in 3 weeks my down payment went up to $370 to almost $600.
