Aspen Dental of Gloucester, Va is a bait and switch scammer. I was looking for a dentistry office which accepted my insurance for a routine dental cleaning. I made an appointment and indicated that was the reason for the visit. When I arrived, I filled out there forms and indicated that I wanted a routine cleaning. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my experience at Aspen Dental in Gloucester, VA. I live in Newport News and had a scheduled appointment on Monday, December 22nd at 10:00 a.m. Due to construction delays, I attempted to contact the office in advance to inform them that I would be approximately nine minutes late; however, my call went to voicemail. It says they accept medicaid, but they do not. No real review here just being informative so people do not waste their time staff is very friendly though!
What a waste of time. I went in for a cleaning and they did an exam and came up with a laundry list of things I "need" that I can't afford including a gingival cleaning that is bs and my insurance won't cover so i'd have to pay $250 out of pocket. i left and am never going back despite having all the xrays and intraoral 3D scanning done. i hope these records will be usable by another provider but Aspen refuses to accept pictures from other providers which should have been my first red flag
