CONSUMER BEWARE Every aspect of my experience here was terrible. Before I scheduled my consultation I asked the person on the phone about billing. I have dental insurance and don’t want to be charged for anything without giving them authorization. They said of course, after the consultation they’ll show me the treatment plan and breakdown the cost. I have never had a more pleasant experience at a dentist office! EVERYONE was so nice and accomodating. I went in in tears as my top denture plate was old and it finally fell apart on me. The staff at this Aspen dental office made a replacement immediately and my smile never looked so good! I have had so many compliments! The staff was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and caring. The dentist was confident and took precautions to make sure that my dental emergency would be solved and without anymore trauma. I feel blessed today. I would recommend Aspen Dental, Madison, WI (West) to everyone.
I called Aspen for a cleaning and check up. I was informed that they had a $29 special for new patients. It included the exam and x-rays. I booked an appointment. They did the x-rays, (18 individual plus full mouth and some other xray with a device to scan inside my mouth). The dentist did the exam, then I asked about the cleaning. I now note that I did not hear them include the word “Cleaning” in the $29 special. My mind heard $29 and thought, great! Went here as a new patient and have nothing but issues after the result. The first session was an hour and a half, didn't include a cleaning and I was tried to upsell on services that I didn't need or request. Feels like they are trying to make back some of the money they spent on their new office. I was told a number of services would be free but they were charged to my insurance and I've had to follow up multiple times to get it resolved.
