Dr. Bell was so nice and easy to talk too. He explained everything so well. I was very happy with our conversation. It was very informative. I liked him so well that I asked him if he still did therapy privately. I wanted to go see him if it was possible.

Dr. Johnson is incredible! She sees all three of my children and they love her. She has a good eye and is quick to observe changes in my Children’s behavior. She always speaks to them as patients and then she will ask for my input at the end. Excellent communicator and goes above and beyond.

Terrible onboarding and scheduling experience with Athena Mental Health. The intake process required a long phone call and extensive documentation, then I was later asked to resend paperwork to a different place. After finally scheduling appointments for therapy and psychiatry, I received confirmation showing the appointment in Central Time. Terrible experience with Athena Care. I booked an appointment, received confirmation by email showing the appointment in Central Time, and planned around that schedule. Then, only three days before the appointment, I received a call saying the appointment was actually in a different time zone due to their mistake. The caller did not apologize or take accountability and only offered to cancel or reschedule. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience, especially for something as important as mental health care.

Courteous and efficient communication with office via text throughout the duration of my experience. Dr. Van Horn was personable while keeping interactions professional. Recommendations and prognosis were helpful and encouraging. Her summary of our consultation was detailed, and complete; when I read it, I felt that I had been seen, heard, and understood, and I perhaps even saw myself more clearly and accurately with the benefit of an accurate "mirror."
