Mary is a great trauma informed therapist. Athena Care in general needs some revamping, but she does her job well. I have seen her for over a year and she has helped me tremendously. She’s intelligent, honest, and well educated for her job. My advice is to research thoroughly all therapist and don’t be afraid to switch if they are not a good fit 👍💜
Brittany is an absolute treasure to work with. I have been seeing her for a year now and she has made a tremendous impact on my Mental Health journey. Athens care is also a pleasure to have for a provider.
We love Athena Care in Hendersonville and have especially loved working with Nurse Practitioner Brittany Wood. She is compassionate and understanding and so educated in her field. We have been too many psychologist, therapist, medication management psychiatrist, and this has been our best experience by far. The receptionist is welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. Ms. Cummings was very thorough in her evaluation and explained it in a way that I could understand it. Even though I was bombarded with a ton of information, she included a plethora of references for me to check out and follow-up with in regards to my diagnosis.
