Athena Care exceeds my expectations. I have been seeing Amy Bailey for close to 2 years now and I love her. She listens to me and actually works with me to find the best solution, and I feel like my emotions can be extra tricky. She has never made me feel like a lost cause or some kind of freak, I really really enjoy the care and knowledge she gives me each appointment. We love Athena Care in Hendersonville and have especially loved working with Nurse Practitioner Brittany Wood. She is compassionate and understanding and so educated in her field. We have been too many psychologist, therapist, medication management psychiatrist, and this has been our best experience by far. The receptionist is welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. I've been seeing Practioner Courtney Cummings for therapy for at least a year and have made great strides in anxiety reduction, work/life balance, boundary setting, and focus. As a middle aged woman with late diagnosed ADHD, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a empathetic and thorough therapist who truly listens and cares.
Ms Winslow is a very intelligent and thoughtful person. She let me talk and get the hurt into words. There is a lot more that I need to say out loud and I think she is one that can be trusted to not judge nor belittle any thought im struggling to put into coherence.
Athena Health Care has been a wonderful experience. My provider, Amy Bailey, has been kind, compassionate and most importantly listened to me and my needs throughout my care. I highly recommend this business and their practice.
