I deal with a lot of mental health issues, and overall Athena has been an astronomical help. I’m not the best for speaking up for myself until I’ve reached my breaking point, and at that point I don’t communicate effectively what’s bothering me. I was able to switch from a previous provider at Athena, and while she was genuinely a kind person it just wasn’t the right fit. Athena Care Murfreesboro is such a special place. From the moment I walk in, I feel at peace and completely cared for. Kenzie and Ashley at the front desk always greet me with the kindest smiles and make me feel so welcomed. They truly set the tone for the whole experience. I initially met Christy when I accompanied my partner to her intake appt. We both found her to be a highly skilled clinician with a warm & supportive manner. Starting w new provider makes me anxious yet at my 1st appt 9/4, Christy balanced gathering medical history, current symptoms, & family history w compassion and humor.
