I have had oral surgery through Dr. Daniel Szalay twice. He is the most considerate and kind and caring physician I have ever been lucky enough to have as a Doctor. He's very knowledgeable and explains thoroughly the procedure about to be undertaken and listens when questions may arise, as well as putting one at very much at ease before and during surgery. I had been looking for a good oral surgeon forever and a friend told me about Austin Oral Surgery. I was relieved to be going an oral surgery that had come so highly recommended. The oral surgeon I saw was DDS.David Szalay, MD, and I cannot say enough good things about him . He checked my teeth and explained exactly what he had to do. I have been to this office twice, with a 3rd visit already planned. I am always very nervous and scared when going to get any dental work done, especially with how much tooth pain I've been having recently. I have had many bad experiences with prior dentists / oral surgeons before: I even recently lost 2 teeth to an infected root canal and infected crown, requiring many dental visits and even an urgent care visit. From the consultation to the procedure itself to post op, the team has been great. I was scared going in but they made it feel safe and warm. Which isn’t an experience I usually have in a doctor’s office. After my procedure I had many questions and they were happy to offer me reassurance. I am very grateful for the experience I had.
