My son had his wisdom teeth out at Austin Oral Surgery's Pflugerville location. I cannot say enough about this staff and his surgeon. They were punctual, professional, and kind. Not rushed but also efficient. They checked on me in the waiting room and gave very good explanation of the procedure - and instructions for aftercare. I highly recommend this team if you are considering providers for oral surgery and care!
From the consultation to the surgery for wisdom teeth removal the team was knowledgeable, helpful, reassuring, and concise. They told me what to expect and it was exactly as described. The post op is not fun in the slightest but the process and team was top tier and I would recommend them.
I have been to this office twice, with a 3rd visit already planned. I am always very nervous and scared when going to get any dental work done, especially with how much tooth pain I've been having recently. I have had many bad experiences with prior dentists / oral surgeons before: I even recently lost 2 teeth to an infected root canal and infected crown, requiring many dental visits and even an urgent care visit. I have had oral surgery through Dr. Daniel Szalay twice. He is the most considerate and kind and caring physician I have ever been lucky enough to have as a Doctor. He's very knowledgeable and explains thoroughly the procedure about to be undertaken and listens when questions may arise, as well as putting one at very much at ease before and during surgery.
