The employees are very pleasant and friendly. However I have had more than one incident where I had bought Google Play cards and Steam cards From Walmart and HEB and they would not work. The purchases were done with my bank card. So I go to the bank with receipt and cards in hand to try to get them to investigate and get my money back. Banking has been unavailable for FIVE DAYS at Austin Telco Federal Credit Union due to internal changes. Had to change password. Still can't access our account. Called bank but no answer or response. Can't pay bills. This is awful. Definitely need to change banks...if they can verify my account!
They were very nice and helpful and helped get me out of a bind earlier today. Process for opening a checking account and getting a debit card was very fast and easy.
I have literally never experienced a more incompetent financial institution in my life. They are never open. On a Friday the lobby closes at 4:00, as does the phone system, so the only way to talk to a human is to physically drive there to the drive through, where the staff at the drive through will tell you they can’t handle those matters, and you have to go inside. I've never been treated so poorly by a bank in my life. When my employer direct deposits my paycheck with a release date, the funds are never available when they are supposed to be. They blame my employer for that, however, all 146 other employee's at my work receive their pay ON their payday. My final straw is them doing this to me on thanksgiving weekend, check should have posted on Wednesday and they tell me they can't release it til the first, despite being a customer for two year's and having the same bi-weekly deposits... read more
