Long-time customer of 30 years here. They're ok. Used to be better. Now they're just like a small local bank with a big bank feel, and I don't mean that in a good way. Their automated phone answering system is horrible, and their chatbot assistant "Alex" is completely useless.
I'm giving 2 stars only because me and my family have banked with them for literal decades (me, my mother, and my grandmother.) The weekly app updates that started in October have cause nothing but problems for me. When they first started, it caused my bank account to become unlinked from my work app (linked through plaid) and its caused me an ungodly amount of issues. Worst bank ever DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. They have zero resepect for there long time customers. All I needed was to cash a payroll check from a new place of employment and all I got was a bunch of nonsense saying they have to hold the check. The check is from a bank here in Austin says payroll right on it. I am just one woman trying to pay my rent and Austin Telco could care less.
