I came from citibank. What was once my free checking account, 6 years ago, has no longer been the case for the past 18 months. They now charge me a $14 monthly service fee. Outrageous! But because switching out my direct deposits would be a huge pain in the rear, I just paid the dang fee, or more appropriately they happily deducted it and I quietly ignored it, lol. My late husband & I first became members of ATFCU (then the TEC credit union in the mid 70's. And until the last couple of days I would never have considered changing financial institutions. I believe the new recently updated system now being used has had the affect of causing my automatic monthly payments ( not ATFCU's "bill pay")to several businesses NOT being paid as I'm getting late payment notices!!!! I don't know how they managed to get a separate yelp account and raise there rating from 2.3 to 5, but they are terrible, worst service !!! Go anywhere but here for banking !!!
