I wouldn’t recommend Avalon to a homeless person. The walls are SUPER thin, so if you stay on the first floor you hear EVERYTHING! Maintenance NEVER comes and fixes anything even after you put a request in through the portal. Whoever lives above me smokes weed and it comes through my vents. Police is always riding through, cars be speeding in the parking lot not watching for kids. Absolutely the worst place I've ever lived. See my review of Gorman, the company that owns em, while they spread their philosophy of horrorshow housing management. Low income,, and young people deserve so much better, but Gor'valon ensures that they won't get it. .01 stars out of 100.
I've lived here for 6 1/2 years and have been through changes in ownership and several different managers. The first girl whom I signed my lease with was nice, but she left not too long after. Then there were some that were rude. Now we finally have one I really like. Thank you Sharon for taking care of things, and for bring so nice. Also, maintenance gets to your needs pretty quick. I been here since November of 2024 ever since I tried to get in here not once did Sharon let me down. Since I been here she’s been an awesome landlord the best I’ve had. She did an awesome job of what I’m needing done. Might take time as the maintenance does have his hands full and so does she!
Don’t rent from this company. I left a message on a voicemail pertaining to a tenant that live on the property. They let the tenant listen to the voicemail that’s against the law.
