My therapist, Aurora Dixon, is absolutely phenomenal. She listens carefully, is extremely empathetic and also challenges me to view things from a different perspective if I am stuck. She is able to blend multiple modalities. She is there to support what you are seeking therapy for not necessarily needing to understand your entire behavioral health history at intake. Absolutely love my therapist Clyndel she is the best and has truly been a blessing. ❤️ I highly recommend looking into therapy here!! I had terrible experiences elsewhere and she has changed my mind entirely, I always look forward to our sessions.
I love Avance I feel like it’s the first place I’ve felt actually seen and cared for as a human being. Especially being part of the LGBT community; they’ve been so welcoming and every step of every visit has always been so easy. I feel so lucky to have found this place after the terrible experiences at Atrium and Novant for so many years. If you’re on the fence please give them a shot!
Sean is a very compassionate and patient therapist. He is a great listener and does work with you to find an approach that suits your needs. My sessions have been very helpful to me especially during some very traumatic experiences this past year and he has been part of a support system that I am grateful for. The ladies at the front desk are also very helpful and amazing! Highly recommend this clinic if you've been hesitant.
My first visit to Avance Care Behavioral, Met with Debra Parker I am impressed with the thoroughness of the intake. I’ve never had a therapist to conduct such a detailed assessment. I am excited about our future visits
