Avoid this clinic at all costs. I was with this clinic for more than 10 years. My doctor I was seeing there is fabulous and he still works there, but you can never get to see him. He is booked out months in advance and you’re always seeing someone else who doesn’t really know about your care plan or your treatment. I made an appointment for my son. I had a question and I was told his appointment was cancelled. The lady on the phone did not know why. I was not contacted by anyone. And I hate how I am expected to "confirm" the appointment multiple times. They say we are too attached to our devices, but if we are not on them everyday we can't confirm our appointments. I have been with Avance Care for over 12yrs and I have referred many friends. I will probably find another practice.
My representative at Avance has changed my life for the best. Tremendous experience. Avance Care also just moved to MyChart, another great service, and it has already paid dividends with an enhanced and smoother operation. They care about innovation and provide cutting edge and diverse services. Good company.
The therapist is wonderful but Avance refuses to bill my insurance despite being on their preferred provider list. They won't send receipts so I can even get partial reimbursement. They'll screw you! A month after I wrote that above, and still being screwed by billing "errors" which are all in Avance's favor. I have ended it. No more appointments with these criminals.
I’ve been going to Avance care for over a year now I believe. Dr. Whalen has been extremely helpful! He took the time to talk to me and get to know me and get to know what’s going on in my life! I’ve also been seeing Kara and she has been an angel sent from God! I know I probably sound ridiculous, but it’s no joke! Between the two of them, they have probably saved my life! I couldn’t be more thankful for both of them and the entire staff!
