Dr. Kakkar is a compassionate, empathetic psychiatrist who is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He made me, his patient, feel heard, understood and cared for. We are not from the same culture but that did not matter. He knows his stuff and really improved my life in short order. I am grateful to him and would recommend him wholeheartedly.
I was severely depressed and he only stuffed me with more and more antidepressants with out worrying about my depression and health.He prescribed me more and more very dangerous medications and know I am under medication for Td and bruxism. At one time o was very depressed and knowing how much I needed help, he gave me a follow up appointment a month and a half. I was like a zombie I couldn’t function. After one year I decided to change psychiatrist. If you really value your health think about it and find another Dr.
