Absolutely worst business practices out of any lending company. During COVID, all my business were shut down, I reached out to them to work through a payment plan for the short period until I was back in my feet, They immediately hired an attorney and went after all my assets.

Worst Company ever..they .send me a e mail saying I need to send prof of insurance. I didnt see it as I get 100 or more a day....they charge me huge no insurance fee for 4 months ...when I have isurance.....when it was discovered I called them and showed them I have insurance. they said would not credit back past 3 months as I paid in auto payment and didnt realize I was being over charged. I would recommend anyone to stay away from this company whose business model is to entice and dupe credit worthy individuals in signing their expensive lease agreements by partnering with fraudulent vendors. The top executives of this company are bunch of privilege middle aged white men who have consistently targeted immigrants and minority populations. Buyer beware!Balboa Capital has the poorest communication I've ever seen. Also, if you like to pay your bills by paper check, you will be charged $40 per transaction even though the contract may say $10.We have attempted to contact them on numerous occasions about this and other issues. We have never received a reply from online sources or our designated contact. Be careful! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND this lender!

I would not recommend Balboa Capital Corporation. Whatever amount you THINK you are being obligated for will most likely be incorrect.I signed an agreement and did NOT read or comprehend SECTION 4. The fault is mine alone.However, all discussions with BCC account sales people outlined a completely different agreement. The effective interest rate of my loan was an astronomical ****%

IF I ***** LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. This company has been harassing me and constantly calling and emailing even though I have repeatedly told them I am uninterested in financing. I have filed a cease and desist letter and will follow up with a law suit if necessary. They are taking up precious resources I need to run my business effectively. Taking up my phone lines has prevented several customers from using my business.

LIARS AND CHEATERS! DO NOT CONSIDER THESE SCAMMERS. I HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT THE CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY GENERAL SO I HOPE SOMEONE FROM THEIR OFFICES READS THIS REVIIEW BECAUSE I HAVE PAPER TRAIL. In a nutshell, I signed an agreement with Balboa back in 2018 for financing and they did not even come close to the interest rate they had quoted me.....Balboa charges me FIVE times higher than the interest rate that they quoted me. I've worked with many banks/lenders through my job, and Balboa is one of the absolute worst lenders I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Out of approximately 20 lenders, I only have complaints about Balboa and one other bank, so I don't take negative reviews lightly. Balboa is a shady company and they charge hidden fees and then they are rude about it when you call to have the fees removed. I will never willingly do business with them ever again.
