I like Dr Alvir a lot but don't recommend seeing her at Trinity Health in Livonia. Wait times are typically 40 minutes after scheduled appointment, sometimes longer. Though she tries to focus her time on me when she sees me, it feels a bit rushed and the wait is ridiculous. This is not Dr Alvir's fault, but I am switching providers anyway because I don't want to spend over 2 hours all told for a 20 minute appointment.
I saw Dr Alvir for the first time this week and took my daughter a couple of days later. Dr Alvir is very knowledgeable and thorough. She spends a lot of time explaining things like how to use medication. Doctors rarely do that. She seems to really care about her work and wants to resolve issues. The staff is very warm and friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I was extremely satisfied with my overall experience as mom and as a patient. Dr. Alvir will be our family doctor from now on.
Dr. Alvir has been my pcp for a few years and I always enjoy going to her. She truly listens to my concerns and talks with me about them. She sends me to the appropriate doctors if it is out of her realm. I appreciate her professionalism and would recommend her any day.
She great! High energy, caring and makes you feel comfortable right away. She even called me on her off time to talk about lab work.
