Barclay Butler is a trustworthy Finacial Guru who is dedicated with a motivated and friendly staff that truly wants to help you purchase or refinance your home. Barclay & his staff are awesome and are very good at what they do. We just moved into our new home which closed in 3 weeks and is my 3rd home purchased thru Barclay Butler with VA financing. If you want an honest broker that can get you financed with the lowest rate possible you will be very happy with Barclay and his crew.
I worked with Barclay and Ashtar. During this time there was a lot of uncertainty with lenders. Barclay was able to find multiple lending options. At times, the communication could have been better. The ultimate goal of closing the loan was accomplished.
Can we give more than 5 stars? Barclay, Victoria and staff are beyond fantastic to work with. There were some hiccups that delayed closing by 2-3 weeks...extremely stressful, yes, but none of them were BBFI fault, and Barclay was most helpful in navigating through them to get them resolved as quickly as possible. And having a Notary come to our home was convenient, and seamless. Not only was this a great experience, we feel we have made a new friend in Barclay Butler!
Buyers beware! This is one of the most unethical and dishonest companies you could ever do business with. Do your own research and pull up this company online and you will be shocked at what you find. Things like being fined by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for not having properly licensed loan originators and failing to register them timely.
