Driver showed up 9/4/2025 to have his truck looked over for a vehicle repair. Without doing a proper diagnosis they told my driver he needed to have his protection valve replaced. When we asked how much the part would run the technician told my driver it would be $500-1000. We asked the technician if we could get the part ourselves and return in the morning to which he agreed to; however, apparently he never put an appointment in their system. $110 to swap my spare tire on the trailer is crazy. Never would I ever come here again or recommend.
I work for marten transport ( parts department) and they use Bauer to get all the tires for truck and trailers, so the driver in charge of this account he is the best his name is Marquis, hard to find people like him, in less that 15 m he can unload over 30 tires , very polite, honest professional and hard worker guy. We don’t need to go out and count the tires because we really thrust him I hope you guys appreciate him with a good lunch, raise or something. Hard to find employees like him.
Amazing customer service. Matt (store manager) and the other manager (I think) were awesome and life savers. My wife had a tire blowout on 435 right near Front St. It was nearly 5pm on a Friday. I left work and rushed down to the QuikTrip on Front St and switched to the spare. I didn't want to drive back to Kearney on that donut. I remembered Bauer was down the road. I worked with Matt, the manager on getting tracks for my skid steer. I own a new small business and I really didn’t know how to install them. He gave me a quote to install them, price was fair but honestly couldn’t afford it. Matt offered to come show me. He delivered my tracks himself and showed me how to install them. Customer for life here!
