I was here 1 month ago and this did not help at all. The staff make it worse and the food is overall terrible, the patients are constantly fighting and claiming to jump people and are awfully ghetto. Don't send your child here, they will likely get bullied or worse.

Most of the staff were over medicated. I was bullied by all hospital staff because I meditate & refused medication. As such I was also labeled a schizophrenic suffering from tobacco use disorder. Then a danger to myself & other's but since I continued to refuse medication they discharged me to a homeless shelter without notification and I ended up freezing at 69th st terminal because the shelter was fully booked. I'm giving one star because they wasted My time.Overall,I had a good experience.they were helpful,My doctor was kind and overall knowledgeable,the staff were really good people,however they kept Me there for wayy too long.I have PTSD And BPD so keeping Me there for a month wasn't good for Me they also put Me on meds that yes helped stabilize My depression/mood swings but made Me gain hella weight,which I quit taking and started on medical marijiana which has helped SO MUCH MORE Than the meds I was on although it was an overa... read more

I was admitted to ER had to wait 5 hours before they finally admitted me, then i still had to pay for telephone and cable service in the intensive care unit smh.m The only thing good about this hospital is they kept me heavily medicated when i was in pain, and the desserts they serve me everyday were deeeeelicious lol
