Great range of frozen and packaged products, wish there were more fresh produce. Parking can be hard to find at times. And that big aggressive dog at the back - nearly gave me a heart attack a few times I had to lark further, and walked past the fence...... This would be a 5-star review if the dog was secured further inside......
This is a well-stocked and clean supermarket, one setp up from a small store. I have been there a few times, and my Asian partner considerably more. At a recent visit I accidentally knocked over a bottle of sauce valued at about $5. No issue, accidents happen. The girl said that I must pay for this. I didn't argue and paid but asked her if the store did not recognise 'lifetime customer value' ? She said no, all breakages must be paid for. Big Asia aupermarket has a great range of products, we were looking for Pandan Leaves and it was no trouble for the assistant to help us.
Good and handy asian shop. I check expiry dates before I put the item in my cart.
First time visiting this store as my best mates sister lives here and she needed Kara coconut milk for a nice lunch she was making for us. It used to be part of the shopping mall across the road, but then they moved across the road and is now a stand alone business with a huge 'Big Asia Supermarket' sign which you can't miss. It's also one of cleanest foods shops I've ever come across. Definitely worth a visit, and the lady at the till is one of the friendliness servers you'll come across. 😀
