Hellishly overpriced! A can of corn beef in the Philippines costs just over $1. In this store it's over $8! No fresh produce. Just frozen or packaged. Very poor selection of products from other Asian countries for a store that claims to be Big Asia!
This is a well-stocked and clean supermarket, one setp up from a small store. I have been there a few times, and my Asian partner considerably more. At a recent visit I accidentally knocked over a bottle of sauce valued at about $5. No issue, accidents happen. The girl said that I must pay for this. I didn't argue and paid but asked her if the store did not recognise 'lifetime customer value' ? She said no, all breakages must be paid for. Great range of frozen and packaged products, wish there were more fresh produce. Parking can be hard to find at times. And that big aggressive dog at the back - nearly gave me a heart attack a few times I had to lark further, and walked past the fence...... This would be a 5-star review if the dog was secured further inside......
Good and handy asian shop. I check expiry dates before I put the item in my cart.
Big Asia aupermarket has a great range of products, we were looking for Pandan Leaves and it was no trouble for the assistant to help us.
