This is a well-stocked and clean supermarket, one setp up from a small store. I have been there a few times, and my Asian partner considerably more. At a recent visit I accidentally knocked over a bottle of sauce valued at about $5. No issue, accidents happen. The girl said that I must pay for this. I didn't argue and paid but asked her if the store did not recognise 'lifetime customer value' ? She said no, all breakages must be paid for. First time visiting this store as my best mates sister lives here and she needed Kara coconut milk for a nice lunch she was making for us. It used to be part of the shopping mall across the road, but then they moved across the road and is now a stand alone business with a huge 'Big Asia Supermarket' sign which you can't miss. It's also one of cleanest foods shops I've ever come across. Definitely worth a visit, and the lady at the till is one of the friendliness servers you'll come across. 😀
I had a very bad shopping experience. When I was checking out several items, I noticed that the total price was incorrect. The staff discovered that one of the items had an incorrect price label. Based on my experience with stores like Woolworths and Coles, they usually apologize for such mistakes and honor the incorrectly labeled price. The shop was well stocked, clean, and the products were easy to find. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Prices of products, were good.
