Dang!!!! Way more than I expected from this little place out on the green!!! You'll know what I mean when you visit them. They welcome us every week with open arms. The teaching is incredible. They take the time to engage not only your child but we parents as well. My son went from playing by memory from his first piano teacher to actually knowing what the difference between quarter, half, and whole notes. We’ve been at big star for over three years and love Chris and the rest of the staff! A fun way to keep our little one off the screen and adds to her confidence and creative side! We wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommended them!

We love Big Star Academy so much! Blake is a fantastic teacher who engages with his students, makes the process enjoyable, and adapts his teaching style to suit them. The front office and other staff are all super friendly and accommodating. Two years in to piano lessons here, we wouldn’t consider going anywhere else in San Antonio.

Emmons Guitar Co. would like to extend a huge "Thank You" to Mike Mansfield and all the staff for hosting the 2021 Wraparound Steel Guitar Summit. The facility was perfect and the team was professional, friendly, and responsive to all of our needs. We highly recommend this venue and look forward to working with Big Star in the future.

My son absolutely loves Big Star Music Academy. He goes here for piano, guitar, and violin. I couldn’t ask for better teachers or a better place. The teachers are engaged with the kids and make them love their instruments. This is truly a phenomenal place for your kids to learn. I’m grateful that we found it.
