In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Would give 5 stars. But I'm disappointed that they took the TVs out of their restaurants. Being a Widower. I enjoyed going to their restaurant. Enjoy a great meal, and watch some Sports and News. Will still eat there. Never a bad meal and staff is always professional. I know this sounds like I'm petty. But when you dine alone. It's always good to enjoy dinner and Sports sometimes.
Bryan was exceptional!!! Food was amazing as usual.
We had Kim as our server and she was lovely. They have so much food and it was delicious!
Great food only if you are Hungry. Our server Maribel was top notch. I must say they all are. Treated like family. Highly recommend
Micaela my server today and every time she serves my family and I is so attentive and professional. Our order is always correct and Micaela is around just enough to see how we are doing and need anything. FIVE STARS FOR MICAELA *****
Highly recommend this restaurant! Great food and service! Micaela is a terrific waitress!
When you arrive, ask for Miss Michaela's or Miss Debra's section. If there are no tables( no surprise) seek out Mr Conner or Miss Gracie's tables. They have some Great Pumpkin, Pancakes and Cheese Cake. Just the right amount of pumpkin spice, not over powering. Try them for yourself, you'll like'em.
