I did a to go order and it was my first time trying Black Bear. When I went inside to pick up my order I’d almost wished I could have had time to eat inside. Cozy place and the plates I saw leaving the kitchen looked delicious and plentiful. I’d ordered the sweet cream waffle, scrambled eggs and bacon. All of it was good, but the bacon was exceptional! As a Tarheel who is on my second time living in Arizona I’m going to actually try the biscuits and gravy next time because this might be the place in Tucson with authentic taste. Out of the multiple breakfast places that line Broadway this is the best I’ve had to date. 4 stars until I try the biscuits, if they’re southern good I’d go 5 stars! Great place!
