I've been to four Black Bear Diners & this one three times in my travels. None of them disappoint. The service has been on point every time & the staff is polite & attentive. The portions are huge & you do not walk away hungry. I went to high school in Amarillo & was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a BBD. If I have to stop for the night I pull in to this location as it matters what a truck stop has to offer for dining and sometimes you want more than just fast food. This location does the trick. The first time we went to a black bear diner was in California and it was great and the one here in Amarillo is great as well !. Amazing place with big delicious portions, it's been a go to for my Wife and I!

We enjoyed the food. The ambiance was as to be expected as it was within a Travel Center on I 40. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Best place for breakfast in Amarillo. I've been to almost all the breakfast places in town and this has been my favorite.

Went in that seated right away not too many people. There took about five minutes for us to get our coffee and order our food, but my creamer in my coffee looked down at my cup and there was food on the inside of my cup gave it back to the waitress apologised over and over and took my coffee off. The bill. Got me a clean cup received our food. It was actually very very good top up. Everything was clean and fresh. Would definitely go there again.

This restaurant never disappoints. The service and food are always great. We have only had breakfast there, so I can't say anything about it for later in the day.

Food was great! My salad looked beautiful when it came out and tasted wonderful. Our waitress was nice. Only downside was when I checked out at the register. Cashier threw away my itemized receipt and when I asked for it, she didn't try hard to find it.
