I just got home from Black Bear Diner. I ordered the little less meatloaf dinner. I was surprised when the server asked me whether I wanted a soup or salad. I asked him isn't that extra? He showed me his little computer and said well it's asking. I didn't think I should argue. Surely he knows. Brought my salad, then my meal. All good. Then he came and said the total was $16 something. Did I want to pay cash or card? I was a little shocked because I believe the meal was $11.99 plus tax. Went to this location for the first time to get some breakfast. Good choices and service was fast. Food luke warm at best. Very cold in the restaurant which means putting the eggs on a cold plate is not good. Biscuts are odd. More like rolls. Had to ask for butter which was hard as a rock. When putting the butter on the biscuts it crumbled and could not spread.

Stopped in for Brunch, the menu was large And saved in newspaper style. The interior was homey-rustic, but definitely chain decorations. It was packed however, so it seems to be very popular. We ordered the "Original Scarmbowl" and Veggie Omelette. Both were good. Very generous potions. Pros: Originality with food and menu. Great food, staff, and welcoming diner. We have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a large menu so there is always something for everyone. The space is big but the parking lots isn't the best to navigate with traffic from other businesses. Don't miss out on the friday night AYCE fish & chips. Such a great deal.

Went for lunch, the nice part is you can order breakfast if you want. I have ate at the Dinner in Phoenix AZ. So when I was over in Aurora and saw there sign. I stopped in and had chilly which was good. The prices are good and good is good. The staff were friendly. And the restaurant was clean. Glad I stopped in. I will go back if on over in Aurora without a doubt.

I loved everything about this place!!! While we were waiting for a table we got to look at all the cute black bear merch. Yes my husband did get me a little bear dressed as a Dino. I completely love that they really went for it with the theme, the cute little newspaper menu, the pictures and decor of black bears. Simply adorable. The food, also delicious! Our server, Brianna, was beyond fantastic. It was our first time and she happily helped us navigate the menu. My husband got eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, fruit and a pancake and he ate every bit of it. I had an extremely odd but delicious dish in the chicken stack. Chicken breast, hollandaise, crispy red onion straws and sweet potato fries. So good. We will be back for the great food and great service.

They have good food great service super friendly. Not awesome for gluten free but do-able. My daughter loves the hamburgers!
