I have a gluten allergy and had a California Burger with their GF bread on the side. Our waiter Kelvin was diligent about ensuring that the order was safe for me. We received outstanding service thank you Kelvin for taking care of us!

My boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We usually visit on Sundays, so we were not sure what to expect. We were seated immediately which was great because we had an event to attend after breakfast. After being seated we were greeted by Kelvin, our server. He was very welcoming and got our drink orders rather quickly. Coffee was piping hot and my boyfriend's sweet tea had plenty of ice, and he enjoyed the taste of it, perfect level of sweetness. First time here and the staff helped me to choose this meal. I don't eat pork and all meats including chicken Sausage Links have Pork contents. The portion was good amount. The staff showed no irritation even when they was busy.

I just got home from Black Bear Diner. I ordered the little less meatloaf dinner. I was surprised when the server asked me whether I wanted a soup or salad. I asked him isn't that extra? He showed me his little computer and said well it's asking. I didn't think I should argue. Surely he knows. Brought my salad, then my meal. All good. Then he came and said the total was $16 something. Did I want to pay cash or card? I was a little shocked because I believe the meal was $11.99 plus tax. Went to this location for the first time to get some breakfast. Good choices and service was fast. Food luke warm at best. Very cold in the restaurant which means putting the eggs on a cold plate is not good. Biscuts are odd. More like rolls. Had to ask for butter which was hard as a rock. When putting the butter on the biscuts it crumbled and could not spread.

Stopped in for Brunch, the menu was large And saved in newspaper style. The interior was homey-rustic, but definitely chain decorations. It was packed however, so it seems to be very popular. We ordered the "Original Scarmbowl" and Veggie Omelette. Both were good. Very generous potions. Pros: Originality with food and menu. Great food, staff, and welcoming diner. We have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a large menu so there is always something for everyone. The space is big but the parking lots isn't the best to navigate with traffic from other businesses. Don't miss out on the friday night AYCE fish & chips. Such a great deal.
