The food at Black Bear diner was absolutely amazing. I had their bacon cheeseburger and my boyfriend had their chicken fried steak. We both recommended these dishes and definitely looking forward to coming back

The volcano with spicy sausage, eggs bacon and cream pancakes. Samantha was outstanding she provided great recommendations even a sample.... Food was great service was better. Highly recommended...

So, I took my mother to the Black Bear Diner for breakfast. This was her first time dining there. We were greeted and seated shortly after our arrival. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She took our order, delivered our meal, continuously checked on us and refilled our drinks as requested. My mother ordered the "Volcano" and I ordered the "Grizz". Food met expectations but service was a little slow. The staff were all friendly but it just seemed that getting the order taken and follow up were a bit delayed. So it was an okay experience but will not be a place I will likely visit often. I will say the biscuit was fantastic

We were hoping for a homemade meal but what we got was pre-breaded meat. The potatoes were okay but the chicken fried steak was disappointing. The gravy was okay but a mix and not from scratch. The broccoli was good. Service was good but the food was overall disappointing.

My fiance and I were here today and Pearson, the manger took real good care of us today. We both had bigger burger either one of us have ever seen. It was dress with everything, no mustard and fries. The first time we went there it wasn't a good experience. But today was a totally different experience. The waitress refilled our beverage before we even asked. Brown Bear is a great place for any meal! Casual, Bear-centric decor with very accommodating Staff. Their menu is vast, allowing most to find many favorites. The platters are over-filled with Texas-size portions. We often leave with leftovers. Big Value very reasonably priced! They have Huckleberry items - the overly big milkshake - glass and shaker is delivered to your table.
