This was my wife and I's first time here. The atmosphere is Bear themed throughout, I liked it. We were seated right away on a Saturday morning. The waitress was Amber(Am-bear on her tag 😊), she was great, very friendly and on her A- game. I ordered the Grizzly plate. It had eggs, thick bacon, sausage and delicious ham. It also had hash browns which, out of my whole experience, I think could have been better, because they were rather crispy, like thin tortilla strips. They weren't bad, just not what I expected. I enjoy visiting Black Bear Diner. I make an effort to vary my orders each time I dine there. This time, I opted for the Shasta Scramble, which was delicious. The biscuits were tasty, but I found myself unable to finish them. However, I can’t get enough of their hashbrowns. Amber, our server, was exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout my meal.
Location: right off of I35. It is an easy spot to get into. Good parking. It is such a cute place, this would be a great spot to stop and eat if you’re traveling through! The price: for my husband & I ate ALOT for $29 Granted we drank water but it was a lot of food for the price. My husband rates the pancakes at an 8 out of 10. I was going for more protein. It was quiet & clean! Our waitress was great, I used to work with her, so I knew we were in good hands!!!!!! 🙌🏾 we will be going back soon to try more food!!!! Just try... read more
Delicious food with large portions. I ordered the lighter sized ham and cheese omelet. The portion was perfect, and the biscuits was massive l!
