RecommendedThe staff is friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. I had the full dinner option of fried chicken, cornbread muffin, soup and crackers, seasonal vegetables, mashed red potatoes and brown gravy. The fried chicken was cooked perfect but was somewhat bland, muffin warm and moist, soup savory, vegetables roasted/ steamed nicely, and finally the potatoes were creamy, yet textured. I believe they gave me white gravy by mistake.

So I ordered a chicken club sandwich with an over medium egg on it. Hubby ordered the special. 45 minutes later our meal came out. Obviously warm from the heat lamp but asked why it too so long, they didn’t know how to cut my sandwich because of the egg. It was a special order, they said. With that no tip today and we were offered a dessert. No time for dessert! Anyhow. The meal was good but won’t be back.

Absolutely AMAZING fresh vegetables as a side dish. The mashed potatoes were delicious as well. I strongly recommend the blackberry stuffed French toast.
