Been here on several occasions. The food is always consistent, consistency matters. The staff is always friendly, and the food is great. The restaurant has an old mountain town charm feel. I enjoy it. To be honest, much better experience here than the Cracker Barrel in northern part of town. No hate on Cracker Barrel, I've gone to great Cracker Barrel's on the east coast. But if I had to choose between these Locations, black bear diner is the winner.

Best breakfast hands down. I always want to get something else but end up getting the Chicken Fried Steak. Side a biscuits or the pancakes. I can never finish it, but I try.

The food is delicious and the service is great. It's a family friendly restaurant. The free birthday plate is better than Denny's. I'm satisfied with the portions of food.

Xochitl is the best server! She gave me and my family the best experience ever. She was very attentive, and her guidance on what's best on the menu made everything even better. I will definitely be coming back again very soon.

Issac was Amazing! Fast service, attentive and very pleasant. Wish I could give him more then 5 stars. Been to Blackbear many times, but the service with Isaac was exceptional. Oh, yes, the food was great to also. Will definitely be coming back.

Friendly & welcoming staff. Excellent food. Our waitress, Xochitl, was very good. I highly recommend Black bear diner to anyone. Great food and large portions. They do have menu items in smaller portions for those who may want a little less.

I was craving the Black Bear Diner Taco Salad and was in the area. I have not been to this location before. I like the Taco Salad since it is shaped like a giant taco and the portion size is generous. I chose beef instead of the chicken because it seems the beef is much more flavorful. The ingredients were very fresh, especially the sliced avocado. I selected the blue cheese dressing on the side but the salad tasted delicious with just the accompanying salsa. Just had lunch at Black Bear Diner in Colton. Great as usual! Tanya was our server and she was wonderful from "HI, how you guys doing..." The lunch rush was just winding down and the place was a blur with the team cleaning up from it. EVEN THE SHIFT SUPER was bussing tables and taking care of the customers! My wife had the Pot Roast Melt and said it was amazing.
