I brought my son and his girlfriend for breakfast. The service was amazing, our server, Xochitl, was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and prompt, recommend highly!
The cinnamon roll french toast is my favorite. Service always welcoming and friendly.
Food was great and we got seated pretty quick considering it was a Sunday. The waitress seemed stressed with all her tables so didn't really check on us but it's understandable. Would go here again maybe just not on a day it's so busy.
Business response:
Thank you for the feedback. We're always trying to make dining at Black Bear Diner the best experience it can be, so thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
Great food and great service will be coming back their fresh orange juice is so refreshing!
We had a pleasure of having a variety of breakfast foods in here. We ordered their Grizz and California Benedict plus chicken from their kids menu. Everything was good, but I have a few things here: your pancakes were very "sticky" and dense. I missed the fluffiness in them. I like my grits thicker, but each to their own. These grits were too watery, imo. Everything else was good. Presentation was very pleasant to the eyes. What was absolutely best today was your service. Very kind, polite and attentive.
The food is tasty with generous portions. This establishment has become Our Go to after church on Sundays. It's 15 of us and they accommodate all of our needs.
Yesterday was our first time trying BBD (Black Bear Diner). Let me tell you the service, the food, the environment, was exquisite! We came in party of 3. Got sat down immediately. Our waitress was amazing. She informed us about a few items that were here definite recommends, and she was spot on with her recommendation for the onion rings. Hadn't had any onion rings as good as theirs yet! Not that we all had different items, and we all were very satisfied. We will definitely be coming back. Oh, and is you are going to get an... read more
We live locally and we eat here fairly regularly. The staff are always friendly and efficient and the food is good. Up until recently my favorite thing on the menu was the Bear Claw with the berry filling. Now, I'm on a specific eating plan and they're sweet about accommodating when they can. It's always a happy occasion eating there. But this is Southern California; you won't catch me eating on the patio for another couple of months!!
My husband and I have recently started grabbing dinner after church on Sunday evenings at BBD in Colton. We have found the food to be good, and the portions are huge, but overwhelmingly, we appreciate the service we receive from Kourtney more. She is kind, attentive, and always has a great attitude. We can always find good food, but when you find great service, it's what keeps people coming back!
