We live locally and we eat here fairly regularly. The staff are always friendly and efficient and the food is good. Up until recently my favorite thing on the menu was the Bear Claw with the berry filling. Now, I'm on a specific eating plan and they're sweet about accommodating when they can. It's always a happy occasion eating there. But this is Southern California; you won't catch me eating on the patio for another couple of months!!
My husband and I have recently started grabbing dinner after church on Sunday evenings at BBD in Colton. We have found the food to be good, and the portions are huge, but overwhelmingly, we appreciate the service we receive from Kourtney more. She is kind, attentive, and always has a great attitude. We can always find good food, but when you find great service, it's what keeps people coming back!
I feel so at home here with REAL food. And ALWAYS filling. They, also, are VERY environmental.
Everything is good at Black Bear Diner. You get lots of good food at very reasonable prices. I'll definitely go back and bring some friends to visit a very good restaurant.
Amazing staff, delicious food, great service from Xochitl. This place is a must. The atmosphere was fantastic, from the lighting, the music, and the decor.
Met with a friend at black bear diner in Colton. My friend & I had not seen each other for many years and we talked for over 3 hours and no one hassled us. Everyone was very friendly & our waitress was wonderful. Food was delicious thank you BBD!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The decor is charming, with a delightful mix of rustic and bear-themed elements that make you feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety of hearty, delicious options. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, and it was cooked to perfection--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, smothered in rich, flavorful gravy.
Just had a fantastic visit. Nikki the hostess was able to serve us. We were a party of 5 and we sat outside. She was very kind checked on us several times and did a great job. It was busy with graduation and she didn't get nervous and was upbeat all the time. If I return I would definitely ask for her. She needs to be a server very soon. People like her are very rare.
Interesting experience. All good things, food was delicious. Our server Xiotil was very friendly and kept the drinks coming.
