I came here back in April 2024, which a friend for breakfast. The food was decent not bad at all. Very family friendly. Service was great!
We normally eat breakfast here but mom wanted the all you can eat fish. They advertised it on their menu. We got there and the place was crowded with a bus full of kids in front of us. We were seated and immediately placed our order for 3 AYCE fish plates and one breakfast plate. The waitress was new but she said you get two sides. When my family and I go to Black Bear, Cafe it's like being enveloped into a hug. The staff is kind the food is great. Gretchen was absolutely amazing ! I had the best Reuben, ice cold diet, Dr Pepper, and the best onion rings. My husband absolutely loved the black and blue burger to his specific specifications lol. Breakfast here is a family, favorite and dinner. Locally it is one of the best diners around and as I've traveled, it's a place you can count on for good food.
Good food the server was good order the veggie omelette w cakes good and hot the employees were friendly waited 46 minutes but it was worth it
Dee Dee, our waitress, was top notch. She was fast, attentive, and went the extra mile to ensure we were taken care of. The food was good, with rather large portions of sizes. The menu is a bit overwhelming, but there are lots of options to choose from. The coffee was tasty, eggs perfect, and food arrived fast.
Good old fashioned food and a bunch of it! If you leave hungry it's your fault. Really good service too. They are efficient and agreeable. Shouldn't miss this one. Great biscuits!!
Black bear is amazing! Biscuits and Gravy are out of this world and beyond huge. It tends to be busy during the weekend morning/brunch and that's bc it's really good!
The one in California doesn't have the mascot walking around, but that's okay. It was nice to see, and the children just loved it. Well, I ordered the Grizz, which is about everything anyone would want for breakfast. It's the eggs, pancakes, bacon, ham, and sausage. Of course, I threw in a side of grits, adding jelly on top!
